Virtual Machine
VPS are instances that access resources on a host system - a dedicated server - and run independently. A distinction is made between a container and a virtual machine (VM). Both forms of virtualization have corresponding advantages in their possible areas of application. Virtual machines are instances that operate with independent operating systems. Whereas a VPS with container technology depends on the operating system of the host system. In virtualization, VMs use the hardware layer of the host system, which means that VMs use dedicated portions of the physical hardware. Furthermore, the instance is fully isolated and therefore more secure than traditional container virtualizations. Virtual machines are all-purpose lightweight machines that are considered an efficient alternative to dedicated servers and are deployed with a broad arsenal of application possibilities.
