  • What is the connection to the server?

    For all servers, we offer a flat rate 1GBit / no traffic limit.

  • Do you guarantee bandwidth?

    We have a guaranteed bandwidth of 200 Mbit for all dedicated servers.

  • Is there a traffic limit?

    No. All our servers include unlimited traffic.

  • Do you offer DDoS Protection?

    Yes, all our servers are DDoS protected. This is free of charge.

  • What is a RAID?

    We offer RAID on servers in 2 variations; RAID software or hardware (with a RAID controller). Here you have the opportunity for two existing hard disks, one thereof to mirror the other. This means that they get only displayed the space on one hard disk. An example: If you selected a server 2x1TB hard drives installed, in RAID is only 1TB provided, because the second disk is used exclusively for mirroring.

  • Can I use the server for streaming services?

    Yes. Since we lease Root Servers, you can use the server for any services that you want. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions..

  • Do you offer sponsoring?

    Sorry, we have don’t offer sponsorship programs.

Accounting questions

  • How is the payment made?

    A payment for our services is usually by direct debit transfer.

    Entering an IBAN during the checkout process, you authorize us direct debit authorization according to your bank details.

    The corresponding amount will be debited from your account within two to three days after invoice delivery. The direct debit authorization expires automatically with the termination of the contract.

    You can also conveniently pay us with credit card. We accept VISA- and MasterCard-credit cards. In addition, we offer payments via Instant Transfer, Click and Buy, PayPal, Pay-Safe Card and Moneybookers and many more. An additional transaction fee for these payment methods apply.

  • What forms of payment methods does servdiscount.com?

  • How do I receive my invoice?

    Your invoice will be sent in PDF format by e-mail according to the e-mail address you entered. The PDFs should be kept and filed in your documents.

    If you want to add a separate email address for invoices, you can do so in our Central Customer Management under the menu item „Personal Data“ - durchführen.

    You also have the opportunity to view all invoices in our Central Customer Management under the menu item „account summary“.

  • How can I prevent German sales tax to be calculated?

    If you own a business abroad and have a VAT number, you don’t pay German sales tax. To ensure that a sales tax is not charged, you must notify [email protected] the VAT number before receipt of the first invoice.

    A correction after the invoice has been created is not possible.

  • How can I cancel my contract for my dedicated server?

    If you wish to cancel your contract, please use one of our termination methods under the menu item “contract overview”.

    Here you have a choice between termination via SMS or telephone, and fax or by mail. For the cancellation by phone or by SMS, please check, in advance your stored phone or mobile number and confirm the code by entering it in our Central Customer Management.

    You will receive confirmation within 24 hours via e-mail. For termination via mail or fax, we ask you to download the document and send it to us with a handwritten signature via mail or fax. You will receive confirmation within three working days by e-mail.

  • What are the termination periods for your products?

    The cancellation period for an agreed-upon minimum contract of 1 month is 4 weeks; for an agreed- upon minimum contract period of 3 months, 4 weeks; for an agreed-upon minimum contract period of 6 months, 4 weeks; for an agreed-upon minimum contract period of 12 months 3 months and for a minimum contract period of 24 months 3 months to the end of the specified minimum contract period.

  • Where can I find the cancellation policy?

    The policy can be found in our Terms and Conditions. The conditions apply only to consumers, that means, you have a right of revocation only if you are a consumer. A consumer is any natural person (private client) who enters into a legal transaction, who is neither self-employed nor commercially affiliated.
